As Founder and Chief Investment Officer of 1971 Capital, Brian leads the firm's investment strategy, deal sourcing, and underwriting. He was previously Managing Director and Market Executive at BMO, the eighth-largest bank in North America, where he built and led the bank's Colorado market, managing more than $1.0 billion in committed capital. Before that, he traded the Leonidas Macro Fund at Typhon Capital Management, an unconstrained global macro hedge fund.
